angemediaHi, guys. It's been a little while since we've had any news, and unfortunately the news I have is a little late. Well, half of it is. The other half just came out tonight.
So I've been watching Huldukatt like the creepy little stalker I can be and picked up two new pieces of news for you all. First and foremost, the redesigns of Luva and Lumiale have been released. I will say this: Luva's is pretty good. I actually like his design and color pallet. He's adorable.
Lumiale is okay. He's not bad (he's certainly pretty) but he's not as elegant as I thought he would be. Something about a shorter robe just strikes me as odd on him. Also, he's wearing a massive jewel in his hair that unfortunately serves the same function as Julious' broach - it takes the attention away from his face. Don't forget the other massive jewel attached to his necklace. I'm not sure how that's not choking him... (He's also wearing black, which is a little disturbing for his character.)
Attached to the redesigns is a little tidbit about three new, original characters? Huldukatt wasn't sure what purpose they would serve, but I doubt they'll be too important. If anything, they're probably tertiary characters and serve minor functions during gameplay. I hope.
The second half of our news just got posted tonight. Supposedly the website for the new game will be posted opened in two days and include all the character designs? I'm confident that we'll finally see Oscar and Clavis' designs in full on there, as well as Rosalia. Hopefully they're going to be putting up the release date on there and we'll be getting more frequent updates? Cross your fingers.
Anyway, that's all I have for you tonight. I hope it's enough for now. I'll definitely keep my eyes open for the website opening (and stalk Huldukatt from the shadows) and throw it on here ASAP. Have a nice night everyone.

Date: 2015-05-22 02:58 pm (UTC)Lumiale's new costume reminds me of Elle's from Terranigma (girl in green (http://i.imgur.com/yurSd.jpg), second page) - which looked just fine on her, but on him... It ain't the genie-shoes disaster at which the preview manga hinted, but brother, it ain't great. The top seems workable (reminiscent of nets & the sea, actually); I'd like it better without the granny-esque waist shawls & gingham-ish stripe on the bottom. Have the dress part end a little more...fluidly.
