Hey, gang!!

Sooooooo I have some exciting news. :) I got my hands on the Angelique Gemme Stories official guidebook thanks to ebay, and upon inspecting it I found that it most certainly has the ENTIRE SCRIPT to Angelique OVA 2: From the Sanctuary with Love as fandramon(maybe?) pointed out many moons ago.

Therefore, as you can guess, I'm currently translating it all to make up for that not-so-perfect version someone else did previously which I found on veoh *cough* calling Catis "Clavis" and referring to the Jet Aiguillon as Jet Legion *cough*
I'm about halfway through part 1 since starting yesterday, so it'll be no time at all before I'm actually subtitling the video.

I'm at a problem point, though, and wanted to reach out to my fellow fans. Currently I only have unsubbed videos that came from at least 8-10 years ago (super low-quality, small video size), and I'd hate to release such a pitiful quality video. The version someone else did on Veoh was great quality, but I only have the version they did with subtitles embedded.
It pains me to think about buying them as the entire 3-DVD set would cost a ton (but will seriously consider it should my plea go unanswered). Would anyone happen to be gracious enough to provide me with some high quality raw avi files, preferably at least 640x480 in size? Or know of someone else who might?

I really want to get these off the table since OVA 2 and OVA 3 are the only ones without proper translations out there.

Unfortunately, they were only uploaded to Megaupload. But, good news, I got my EHD working again, which holds most of my anime. I'm uploading the OVA to mediafire as I type this, so it's up to you to judge the quality.

Awwww. Thank you! I'd love to take a look at them. The ones I've always had are really small, like the window size of them is only around 320x240 (about 130-145MB each), and the sound and video quality is terrible. I think they were originally shared on RealVideo or something in Japan, and then someone snagged it and converted it.

Call it a coincidence but I was actually going to upload the raws I ripped along with the omake a few days ago :'D Ah but this is truly wonderful news! I'd always gotten the gist but translated it'd tie up a lot of loose ends~ You're an angel <333

You'll just have to give me a while to try to get it to actually upload since the internet around here moves at a snails pace and mediafire ends up giving me error 205 which is I don't know what it is even. So I'll try to work on that and I'll get back to you soon.

Edit: asjdhfl sorry hadn't seen the comment above, I'll be trying to upload them for storage purposes anyway so if you end up needing them let me know. Again, this is superb news, and thanks so much for doing this <33

Actually, that would be great! btamamura didn't have them after all. They were the small 320x240 ones I've had over all these years.

If you could share those with me, that would be BEYOND amazing! And your timing couldn't be any better either. I'm just putting the finishing touches and proofreading the script for episode one of OVA 2 today. :)

Hey.

I'm still working with someone on getting the raws, but the script has been done for a couple months. I got sidetracked with working on my translation hack of Sweet Ange for Gameboy Color and the Angelique manga that's being released through mangaart's website. I'd like to get back to work on it, but as of now I'm afraid I can't give a definite answer as to when it will be out. :( Soon, I hope.
