More stuff up at the Six Knights of Dark Love page: more voice samples for the main guys and the alleged opening movie, which is anime-posetastic. (I suppose this would mean that we should be able to hear the OP, but I can't tell with my laptop sound problems. Someone'll say.) 2Hearts' ED has a name now ("Spica"), and Dad has an official English spelling for his name: "Mayleath."

Oh, and Giovanni has a blog now. That's the most important development, I think.

I'm actually rather glad that the opening confirms that this will be a dark game. I mean, you have poor Ellis' death, what I think is Leviath stabbing his father, and images of the knight's dead. So yay, for not pulling punches! Also, I certainly like the Ai no Warrior theme song. Nice and dramatic!

Also, agreed that Giovanni having a blog is darn amusing. Especially when we get bonus pics. (Do I spy Cain in glasses? As if I need another weakness touched upon....)

BTW, has the game gone up for preorder anywhere? I was hoping to get it squared away since I convinced myself to get the Special Edition but I've yet to find a place to order it....

I've been trying to find an import site with a preorder (Play-Asia, YesAsia, Amazon Japan, HMV Japan), but no dice; the only shops that have preorders are Japan-only places like Animate that allow you to place preorders on basically any title that's been announced. Maybe the opening of preorders is the big news Giovanni's promising for next week.

(If the game allows totally AU endings, my first priority will be to see if I can't get Cain crowned Emperor, or at least get him out alive.)

Nice!!! I'm really pumped for this now. :D Too bad it's not up for preorder yet. I have a $5 off coupon on PlayAsia for recently buying Harukanaru Toki no Naka De 5, but it expires on 9-29.

Here's my only small complaint (and it's a complaint that reaches back as far as early Ange games); they don't give your eyes enough time to take in everything.

For instance: I barely have more than 1-2 seconds to read the names of the characters as they pop up, along with seeing the image of the person. It's not a problem if you're already familiar with the characters, but for someone who's new to the game...

Now, I don't know if Japanese are just super duper speed-readers or something, but I get irritated when I'm trying to read something to myself during auto-timed text in, say, Angelique in Wonderland or Angelique Etoile or something and only get about halfway through before it's already to the next screen.

Am I the only one who has this problem? Haha

Ehh, Play-Asia coupons always expire before you order again. If you go to the ever-classy CheapAssGamer, they have a thread where folks post the coupon codes they're not going to use, so you can usually snag one from there before making a purchase. You might even be able to use the $8 off $80 one, y'know, considering the ridiculous amounts we're going to be spending on this game. :(
