New Maren voice samples, ending song by Kanon

The Maren no Rokukishi has been updated again with voice samples for the six main knights + Leviath. Can't tell you how much of it is new due to comp sound problems, but go to it.

Also announced is the licensing of Kanon's "Shalom" for a second ending song. It hasn't been commissioned exclusively for the game - it comes from an album Kanon released in March - but hey! Idea Factory's spending money on this production! They must be serious about it, right?! Hopefully?!?! Er. Anyhow, you can download "Shalom" from Amazon this very moment, in case you want a preview.

New Knight Captain chapter later today. Will the Knight Captains be able to overcome their greatest foe, translator incompetence?

ETA: Fail in this department. As compensation, have a translation of the lyrics to Kanon's "Shalom".

* - "Mono" here can mean either "thing" or "person". With this construct, it's usually the latter, though I can't tell for sure unless I see the kanji, and I'm working with a romanization.

Heard the samples, and I still love Eugene's voice! (Well, it is OnoD,but still...and I still can't decide if I like him or Tobita best...it's probably gonna forever be a tie.) I honestly thought I was listening to Sebastian when I closed my eyes. (Kuroshitsuji fangirl is present)

I loved the samples - hearing Gerhard a little more, he's kinda growing on me but Kenyuu will always be my preferred choice. I really like how Narita shifted his voice down lower for Leviath than his normal Arios voice - makes for a nice contrast between the characters.

...I don't like Cain's voice. ._.; It's not stoic and deep enough.

Kiefar made my mouth twitch. I think I like his voice quite a bit~ I have no idea why, but he actually sounded rather hot in that third clip. xD Who knew Hirata could sound like that?

Giovanni just made me love him even more. Good old Morikubo - he can sound like an evil jerk (Kadaj), an adorable ditz (Ginji Amano), a cute kid with a demonic split personality (Akaya Kirihara)... and then Giovanni~ <3 Dang. I love how cute Giovanni sounds, and then goes crazy in the final clip.

I kinda like Eugene. Sometimes I dislike Daisuke Ono's voice, but I gotta admit I love him as Cancer Manigoldo in Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas. I'll probably learn to like Eugene, too. At least he sounds the complete opposite of Manigoldo - MG is a rude daredevil while Eugene is cool and calm.

O_o; *stares at Sionna* Darn it, Kaji. Your voice is too deep.

*squeals* Nobuyuki Hiyama's voice is PERFECT for Gerhard. It's a good thing he's excellent at these nice energetic guys with the horrible temper tantrums~

And obviously Leviath had to have the hottest voice. How does NariKen do that...

PS. So, based on voices, my favorites in order would be: Giovanni, Leviath, Gerhard and Kiefar. My least favorites are Sionna and Cain. Indifferent about Eugene at the moment.

Only need to hear Walter, Ka-Fai, Renaud and Johannes. Walter might sound good, considering Yoshino was awesome as Alle and Halle in Gundam 00. Ka-Fai's seiyuu also voiced Kosuke Niwa in DNAngel... so I'm hoping he sounds good. Rie Kugimiya was Alphonse Elric so Renaud sounding nice is a given. Tomoaki Maeno... sort of unfamiliar with this guy.
