The quality IS fuzzy, but watching gun-brandishing Rayne jumping out of a girl's closet, J.D. & Hyuga blowing up mecha and Nyx just being Nyx is more than worth it ~

Without a doubt, there's going to be a lot of action and Neo Angelique will be an AMAZING anime <3

Lol, who *doesn't* love Nyx and Hyuga ? Mathias looks interesting, but am kind of annoyed that he robbed Rene of the rights to a robe~

Hmm, that is debatable. Rene in his original design looks stunning enough to me XD Mathias is a new chara for the anime, I've no idea how he'd look like without a robe

Mathias looks GREAT, and with good reason. Koei is doing everything to ensure the new characters are going be a hit when the anime comes out (more $$$ in spinoff products, CDs, etc).

I pity Rene, the robe and claws were such an integral part of his character and (arguably) the reason of his popularity. It's too bad this was taken advantage of by the series producers XD

Just my 2 cents. And I DON'T hate Koei or Mathias by the way.

Mathias is Lumiale with a little bit of... Julious.... imho. I've a feeling he's not going to be as patient and gentle as Lumi (and if you mixed Lumi and Julious' hair colors you'd probably end up with a pale sort of green, right?) *dies*

Nyx like Luva ? Rofl, I dunno, there's no similarity physically or personality-wise as far as I can tell. Rene looks like Marcel and yes they're rather girlish as well XD Anyway, Rene's robes are almost Clavis-worthy and he has a tiara to boot~ I can't remember where I stored his full-body shot, too bad.



But, Koei does have the right to do anything they want, including choosing the animators/artists of the aforementioned Etoile series *sigh*

Erm, those aren't glasses, that's his MONOCLE ~ And without it Nyx just isn't Nyx. He's a charmer alright, but aside from that, he's not much like Francis...... you'll have to wait and witness the awesomenss for yourself XD

Lol, I guess now you somewhat understand why I was annoyed at Koei for giving Rene a wardrobe change XD Clavis looks good in almost everything refined and elegant ^_^ I liked the Trois one better too....

Aha, that's the infamous ending of Nyx's~ But he's awesome mostly due to his complex character imho. You're right, Clavis' height does bother Julious. Julious admitted how a long time ago when they were young, Clavis was CUTE. Then Clavis suddenly GREW TALLER THAN HIM, grew an attitude, and he was no longer cute rofl Ah, in that respect, Julious is very straightforward, while Clavis is subtle. Yet, he never fails to get mad at all the subtle barbs Clavis throws at him XD

Wow, this is late *flush* Answers in point form:
- Neo Ange and Ange are separate universes (read:separate manga XD). I don't have it with me, but I'm sure there are scanlators. You can try to post a request, I'm sure someone here can help.
- Nyx has an inner dark personality ? Yes and no *grins*
- What is Julious' problem with Clavis ? They have a LONG history together and their relationship started off on the wrong foot (six-year-old Julious' first words to six-year-old Clavis was something like I hate you, I wish you never came to the sanctuary XD). It's been a roller coaster love-hate thing from then on. But the truth of it is, even now Julious is very protective of Clavis (Various reasons for this. One of it being when they were children Clavis was innocent and cute and used to FOLLOW HIM AROUND LIKE A LITTLE SHADOW before he.... grew taller and got that "attitude"). Julious would sooner jump off a cliff than show that he cares when Clavis is around though.

Close, yes. Chibi Julious had grown attached to the previous Guardian of Dark, a kind, gentle man, because the poor thing never experienced the warmth of parental/family love before *sigh* IDEA, indeed. You bet I'm expecting some relevant writing to pop up at your comm soon rofl Actually.... I suspect Clavis can read Julious like a book so he already knows that bit *evil laugh* Such great actors, both of them are XD

Well, there are certain lineages which are famous for "producing" Guardians, and Julious' lineage is one of them. So parents basically bring up their sons with expectations that they MAY become guardians one day. I suspect that's the reason why his parents resolved not to get attached with little Julious, and so the poor child didn't know what it was like to be loved XD
