Hey everyone! I've been keeping my eyes open for any updates about the remake scheduled for this year and happened to stumble across this earlier this morning:

Yup, we get a whole spin-off series for the manga. I'm not too sure how that makes me feel, considering the manga's only been going for a few months now. Anyway, this one focuses on a 17 year-old Oscar attending what looks like the Royal Expeditionary Force boot camp. He's got a crush on a superior officer named Anya, who apparently has a bit of an interest back. Oh, and I guess Oscar's got some ninja skills now? I'll say this much: I feel a TINY bit better about Oscar's design. He still doesn't look like Oscar, but it's not as terrible as I feared. Of course, this is just the teenage Oscar. Adult Oscar can still look completely different. I guess I'll withhold further comment until more information comes out. Tell me what you guys think.
