Shugosei + Hachiyo cooking scenarios

Hey there, minna-san, how are you?

I've been thinking of making a crossover fic for a while now. In it, it's Julious' birthday, and so the rest of the Shugosei as well as the Hachiyo, all gather into pairs and make something for the birthday feast. The pairs will be who traded with who in Trading Romance, which is the reason why Julious isn't cooking, I'm not including Akuram to my fic.

Here are scenarios I'd thought of for each pair...


Clavis + Yasuaki: Clavis sleeps through most of the preparation (got up the same time as everyone else XD), so Yasuaki is left mixing the ingredients. In my head-canon, Yasuaki is forbidden to use the oven, so he has to wake Clavis for that.

Randy + Tenma: They'd both try their hardest. In the end, Randy has a couple of fail moments and Tenma comes to the rescue.

Lumiale + Eisen: Both being artistic types, they strive to make certain their creation is perfect, even adding artistic flair to the presentation of the dish.

Oscar + Yorihisa: Since Julious is Oscar's best friend, he wants to do whatever he can to make certain the dish is enjoyable. Yorihisa feels that it must be perfect as it is being made for someone of high rank (compared to him anyway).

Marcel + Shimon: No troubles, but these two are in charge of dessert.

Zephel + Inori: It's a wonder they'd get anything done with their constant arguing. Zephel wants to take the easy route by using technology, while Inori feels better doing it personally. In the end, they compromise.

Olivie + Tomomasa: Most of it is easy-going for them, but when it comes time to mix by hand (really, by using hands), Olivie would rather not get his hands dirty and demands Tomomasa do it.

Luva + Takamichi: They look up recipes in cookbooks. Unfortunately, they get so caught up in that, they never get anything done!

Anyway, those are scenarios I can see happening. There will be one chapter for each pair, as well as the before and after.

Are there any suggestions for other things that might happen among some of the pairs?

Are you going to include a possible hint as to exactly WHY Yasuaki is not allowed near an oven? (Like something about his powers causes the thing to act irrationally, like set it on fire.)

How about Randy accidentally injuring Tenma? >> Like dropping something heavy on his foot. They'd a little scuffle and then just laugh about it afterwards. (Now that you mentioned Randy and fai momentsl, I instantly thought of him setting his cooking on fire, which in turn spreads to his apron.)

Lumi and Eisen noticing they're both musical artists and play music at the same time as they're making food? XD I wouldn't be surprised if they figured out how to do it.

I dunno, a random girl popping up and Oscar being distracted which causes Yorihisa to remind him (if he's the type to use a harisen... well lol)? ;P

I bet Marcel wants wing/bird decorations on the dessert.

Zephel actually managing to create some techy device, which goes haywire and they have to stop it together?

Can't think of anything for these two, lol.

They'd try out some recipes while reading and after tasting, they taste so bad they move on to the next recipe? And eventually all the garbage cans are filled with foul-smelling food. And anybody who enters the room will feel faint? X'D

Since Yasuaki's true age is 2, it's pretty much like "make sure you get a grown-up to do this". Plus, in my fic history, not only did he have the oven up too high and burnt a cake he was making, he'd also forgotten to wear an oven mitt when getting something out of the oven.

Somehow, clumsy-in-kitchen!Randy highly amuses me!

Wouldn't surprise me if they did that, not at all. (So, why didn't I think of that? XDD)

THIS! "Ahem, Oscar, we really should...Oscar, please listen to me. Oscar!" (No use of honorifics as in a live drama, Oscar actually told Yorihisa not to use any)

Of course! (Shimon wouldn't really seem too fussed though)

It is a little difficult to think of something for this pair...

Ooh! Burn! That'd be pretty funny too!

I can definately imagine Zephel arguing over which ingredients and such as used and how its done.
This reminds me of neo angelique when the guys refused to work together to make a meal :)

Well, for a suggestion, one of the guardians could by a strange and magical ingredient that somehow changes all the other meals and ruins everything perhaps?
