Hey there, minna-san!

I wrote this last night, a little something for the festive season. I'm also working on carol parodies for the four main series, those will be up soon.

Anyway, I present to you....

'Twas the night before Christmas in Hidamari Tei
And all residents had prepared for a very special day
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that St. Nicholas would soon be there

The Aube Hunters and Angelique were tucked in their beds
While visions of sugarplums danced in their heads
Angelique wore a 'kerchief, while Nyx wore a cap
Hard-working Rayne was the first to nap

But out on the roof, there arose such a clatter
The Aube Hunters got up to see what was the matter
Away to Angelique's room did they dash
They hurried and so they arrived in a flash

All four were standing guard outside of her room
And until danger passed, they weren't about to move soon
Angelique was having an undisturbed sleep
And not even Ervin the cat woke to peep

J.D. tensed as he heard a sound from outside
Yet somehow it sounded like someone on a ride
They heard lots of names being called out
But what if it was trouble, they couldn't doubt

They feared it may be a Thanatos on the roof
But instead what they heard sounded suspiciously like a hoof
Hyuga headed downstairs, he'd heard a strange sound
And saw St. Nicholas come down the chimney with a bound

The others soon joined him and arrived to see
A man in red standing by the Christmas tree
He was covered in fur from his head to his foot
And his clothes were covered with patches of soot

They knew the face, the man with the belly
Which, Nyx observed, shook like a bowlful of jelly
His eyes had a twinkle that made them feel merry
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry

Rayne happened to see something like a glow
That came from his beard that was as white as snow
They silently watched as he went straight to his work
He filled all the stockings and turned with a jerk

Laying his finger aside of his nose
Giving a wink and a nod up the chimney he rose
Angelique opened her eyes to the sound of a call
"Merry Christmas, Arcadia, may peace reach you all!"
