NYC Comic Con Update

Hey all!

As promised, I have some photos for you to show off costumes. It features me as Randy from Angelique Trois and my friend Kristen as Angelique from Neo Angelique. Sadly, only 2 or 3 people out of the thousands of people attending NYCC knew who we were. We're hoping this got more people interested in looking it up and getting involved.

OMG, you two look so awesome! :O It's cool that you got some recognition too ^^; Wish there were some anime cons in Ontario (Canada :p) this time of year, I'm not so well travelled when it comes to the US *is geographically challenged* Even though NY is kind of close, I don't have a car or a drivers' license so yea ^^; Hope you two had lots of fun~ Did you spot any other NeoRoma/Otome characters and/or merch? XD (I saw a Hiiro no Kakera group at this year's past Anime North; they seem to be rare o.O)

I didn't. I kept my eyes open but didn't notice any other NeoRoma/Otome people. :( I also hate that my friend didn't bother telling me that my collar was sagging when we had pictures taken. I guess walking through New York City in a wind storm will do that to ya. Luckily, though, I put enough product in my hair to sink a horse, so it didn't really mess up at all. :D

But Randy, you're the wind guardian, clearly you're the one who brought it with you :B har har.
Sad that there wasn't any other Otome representation, maybe with Hakuoki coming out next February and Hiiro no Kakera slated to get an anime, there will be more interest in the genre ^^;
At this past AN I at least saw some manga and anime from NeoRoma series for sale in the dealers' area (it'd be nice if the NeoAnge manga was translated too; I've only seen Haruka and Corda.)

Holy Hannah, you weren't kidding when you said you looked like Randy. I'm particularly impressed, of all things, with how you got Randy's hair exactly right - and the attention to the little details, like the jewels in the buckles of the shoes. You've done an awesome job.
